A Nyazura man allegedly killed his wife after she failed to greet him.
Police confirm the arrest of Jelous Musasa (35) in which he allegedly killed his wife Monica Tabvuroona accusing her of failing to greet him.
The incident occured on December 16, in Village 7D1, Nyadzonya, Nyazura.
“The suspect reportedly struck his wife, Monica 30, all over the body with a log after accusing her of failing to greet him.
“The victim sustained severe head injuries and succumbed to the injuries.”
In a separate incident, on December 17, Police in Chimanimani arrested Tonderai Masaiti (37) in connection with a murder case in which his brother, Benjamin Masaiti (43) died.
The suspect allegedly assisted his sister-in-law, Chipo Chirigo (45), in attacking the victim following a dispute which reportedly stemmed from allegations that Tonderai was having an affair with Chipo Chirigo who was married to the victim.
Chipo Chirigo is on the run.
Anyone with information that may assist in the arrest of Chipo Chirigo to report at any nearest Police Station.
