The Chinhoyi Magistrates’ Court has convicted an 18-year-old man for having sexual intercourse with his young blood sister aged 16.The offender was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment of which 4 months were suspended for 5 years.
The remaining 8 months were suspended on condition that he performs 280 h IIours community.
On an unknown date in May 2025, at Madhuveko Village in Zvimba, the offender entered her sister’s room as she was preparing for school.
He caressed her from behind and the two had consensual sex.
