Police have confirmed that four people were killed while 11 others were injured when a Nissan Caravan kombi veered off the road before landing on its roof on Monday morning.
The kombi had 14 passengers on board after the left rear tyre of the vehicle burst.
“The ZRP confirms a fatal road traffic accident which occurred at the 178 kilometre peg along Harare-Bulawayo Road, Battlefields, on November 18 at around 1100 am.
“Four people were killed while 11 others were injured when a Nissan Caravan kombi with fourteen passengers on board veered off the road before landing on its roof after the left rear tyre of the vehicle burst.”
Meanwhile, in Harare, three people were killed while four others were injured when a Toyota Hilux GD 6 vehicle with three passengers on board was involved in a head-on collision.
The vehicle collided with a Nissan NV200 vehicle with four passengers on board at Bradford turn off along Harare-Bulawayo Road on November 16, at around 8:30 pm.
