Prophet Walter Magaya will have to wait a bit longer while in custody as he continue to seek freedom.
Their application to be released over their claims of being over-detained by police has been dismissed by Harare Magistrate Marewanazvo Gofa.
For the rape allegations against Magaya, Magistrate Gofa said the court has no jurisdiction to grant him bail.
He advised him to apply for bail at the High Court.
He is expected back in court on November 13.
The couple are facing 13 counts of fraud relating to a housing scheme that did not materialise.
A bail hearing is underway for Tendai Magaya.
