Rusitu Tigers beat rivals Tongogara 4-2 in the highly anticipated Chipinge Derby at Ratings Arena in Middle Sabi on Saturday.

The event was a resounding success, thanks to the electrifying atmosphere created by the league sponsor, Pacific Storm.
The entertainment provided added to the excitement, with top artists, including Jah Master, delivering captivating performances.
Jah Master, known for his energetic acts, creates a sing-along atmosphere that leaves an appreciative Chipangayi crowd asking for more.
The event also had a giving side, with several fans walking away with prizes, including a new bicycle awarded to the best-dressed fan, Veronica Dusabimana, courtesy of the sponsors.
Pacific Storm’s Marketing Manager, Kudakwashe Chiutsi, who attended the match, emphasised that the event’s objective remains unchanged – to promote football in marginalised communities and provide a platform for fans to enjoy quality entertainment.
“When we came up with their concept, the idea was to take football to the people and promote talent in small communities.
“So, nothing has changed, we are grateful to see people coming out in their numbers to support their teams, and it was really an electric atmosphere.

The Eastern Region Soccer League has been on a roll this season, thanks to the sponsorship by Pacific Cigarette Company through their Pacific Storm brand.
The league continues to bring excitement and joy to football fans in the region with the trophy presentation expected next week.
This comes after Marondera-based side FC Hunters won the championship with a match to spare.
