Harare October 20- Harare will host the prestigious Zim Summit Awards, honoring fifty outstanding professionals from across Africa for their remarkable contributions in fields such as medicine, law, business, and innovation.
“We are uniting Africa’s brightest minds and most successful individuals to acknowledge their incredible achievements.
“These individuals have surmounted significant challenges to excel in their respective fields,” stated Mitchell Sibanda, the awards secretary.
The Honourable Cabinet Summit Awards, taking place on November 22, at the Rainbow Towers, will gather government officials, industry leaders, and esteemed professionals from various African nations.
Awardees will receive gold plaques, presidential garments, and badges of excellence, celebrating their accomplishments in their chosen sectors.
Sibanda emphasized the event’s purpose: to honor African talent and motivate future generations of professionals and entrepreneurs across the continent.
“This event transcends a typical awards ceremony.
“We aim to demonstrate to young Africans that excellence is within reach and that their contributions hold significance on the global stage,” she remarked.
Government officials are expected to attend this formal ceremony, which promises to draw high-profile guests from across Africa.
The event will recognise the top 50 individuals in each professional category, with the specific timing of the ceremony yet to be disclosed.
