Vice President Mohadi, who is in Mozambique for a diplomatic tour of the SADC countries, was shown a historic cooking pot that was once used to prepare food for President Mnangagwa.
The pot was also used to fellow comrades during their training days at the Bagamoyo Camp.
The pot stands as a simple but powerful reminder of the sacrifices and shared experiences of the liberation struggle.
In a current update, the Ministry of Information said that today, Vice President Mohadi visited the historic Bagamoyo Training Camp, which was transformed into Kaole Wazazi College of Agriculture.
The camp played a key role in 1963 as a training ground for liberation fighters, hosting notable revolutionaries such as President Mnangagwa, Joaquim Chissano, Samora Machel, and Aghostinho Neto.
Zimbabwe’s National Heroes, such as Cdes Josiah Magama Tongogara, Herbert Chitepo, Solomon Mujuru, and Vitalis Zvinavashe, also received military training at this camp.
