Dynamos coach, Saul Chaminuka, has been banned for two games and fined US$4000 for his role in the abandonment of their match against FC Platinum.
Chaminuka will miss the relegation-threatened team’s next two league games following the ban.
In a statement, the Premier Soccer League Disciplinary Committee released judgements following disciplinary proceedings involving Chicken Inn FC and Dynamos FC in relation to the abandonment of their respective fixtures.
Chicken Inn FC and their player, George Majika were found guilty following the abandonment of their match against Scottland FC played at Rufaro Stadium on May, 23.
The club was also fined US$5000, with the match awarded to Scottland FC on a 3 nil scoreline.
Additionally, George Majika was sanctioned for his role in the incident and fined US$1000. exchan just a game
“In a separate ruling, Dynamos FC were found guilty of causing the abandonment of their match against FC Platinum played at Mandava stadium on 22 June 2025.
“Consequently, the club has been fined a sum of US$5000, and the match was awarded to FC Platinum on a 3 nil scoreline.
“Furthermore, Dynamos FC Head Coach, Saul Chaminuka was also held responsible for his conduct during the match.
“He has been fined US$4000 and banned from occupying the technical bench for the club’s next two matches.
“The PSL reminds all clubs, players and officials of their obligation to uphold the league’s rules and regulations.
“Any actions that disrupt fixtures, undermine the integrity of the competition or bring the game into disrepute will not be tolerated.”
