Zimdailyjournal Editor<\/p>\n

Cancer-stricken teenage girl Shalom Onoja\u2019s funeral wish, which she wrote a few days before her death, has been fulfilled.<\/p>\n

In one of her wishes, she wanted her coffin to be branded.<\/p>\n

Friends came to honour her<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Shalom wrote, thanking everyone who supported her while she was on her deathbed.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

She succumbed to bone cancer while admitted at Parirenyatwa Hospital.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

A funeral service was held this Saturday at Nyaradzo Funeral Parlour.<\/p>\n

MY WISHES IF GOD CALLS ME HOME<\/p>\n

To my beloved family and everyone who loves me, I want to share my wishes with you.<\/p>\n

If the time comes when God calls me to my resting place in Heaven, I ask you to remember that my life was more than my illness.<\/p>\n

I know that you may cry because you love me, and I understand that saying goodbye to someone you love is painful. You do not have to hide your tears or pretend that you are not hurting.<\/p>\n

But when you remember me, I hope that your tears will one day make room for smiles, gratitude, and beautiful memories.<\/p>\n

Please find comfort in your faith and in the love we have shared. If it brings you peace, remember that I am placing my hope in God and trusting Him with my life.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MY FUNERAL WISHES<\/strong><\/p>\n

If I pass away and my family is able to honour these wishes, I would love:<\/p>\n

– The dress code to be purple or all white, as these are the colours I would love to see worn in my memory.<\/p>\n

– My casket to be beautifully branded or decorated with my photographs, so that my family and friends can remember my face, my smile, and the life I lived.<\/p>\n

– My funeral to be filled with love, prayers, unity, and peaceful remembrance.<\/p>\n

– My family and friends to stand together, comfort one another, and celebrate the precious memories we shared.<\/p>\n

I do not want my life to be remembered only through sadness.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I want it to be remembered through love, courage, kindness, faith, and the people who stood beside me.<\/p>\n

These are my wishes, shared from my heart, and I hope they will be treated with love and understanding.<\/p>\n
