<\/p>\nGovernment has said investigations into the Bell 430 Helicopter crash that killed business tycoon Wicknell Chivayo, his wife, Lucy Muteke, and three others will be completed within 30days.<\/p>\n
Other victims of the crash were two pilots, Captain Calvin Soda and Captain Courage Mutavira, and Sanelisiwe Magagula.<\/p>\n

The incident occurred on September 30, at Kudenga Farm, in Mashonaland East Province.<\/p>\n
Speaking during this Tuesday\u2019s Post-Cabinet briefing, Information Minister Dr Zhemu Soda said the government is informed that the helicopter was registered in Zimbabwe, marked Z-PED, and was operated by Sky Helicopters Private Limited.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe aircraft was on a private flight from Gandami, in Chikomba District in Mashonaland East Province, travelling to Marondera.<\/p>\n
\u201cUnfortunately, the helicopter crashed, tragically killing all five occupants on board, including the Pilot, Captain Calvin Soda, and all four passengers, Wicknell Chivhayo and his wife, Ms. Lucy Muteke; Ms. Sanelisiwe Magagula; and Captain Courage Mutavira.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe public is informed that a full investigation was instituted pursuant to the Convention on International Civil Aviation and Civil Aviation Act Chapter 13:15.<\/p>\n
\u201cPreliminary on-site investigations have been concluded, with the wreckage being recovered to the Government Hangar at Charles Prince Airport to allow for detailed forensic examination, including international experts.<\/p>\n
\u201cGovernment advises that a preliminary report will be expected within 30 days of the accident, in line with international investigation standards, detailing examination of the wreckage, meteorological information, including the weather, maintenance records, operator, and crew<\/p>\n
records.<\/p>\n
