Women\u2019s Democracy Network Zimbabwe (WDNZ) has launched a campaign to promote women\u2019s inclusion and participation in democratic processes.<\/p>\n

Dubbed #InvestinHer the campaign is part of the commemorations for Women\u2019s Month courtesy of WDNZ.<\/p>\n
It is working towards a gender-equal world.<\/p>\n
The campaign coordinator Daphne Machiri said they want a world free of partiality, stereotyping, discrimination, and ferocity.<\/p>\n
She said they are working towards a world that is inclusive, equitable, and diverse.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe objective of the campaign is to promote women\u2019s inclusion and participation in democratic processes.<\/p>\n
“It is also aimed to commemorate Women\u2019s Month by raising public awareness.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also seek to recognise women\u2019s achievements in political leadership facets and not only politically but also their contributions towards socio-economic development.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are working towards a gender-equal world, a world free of partiality, stereotyping, discrimination, and ferocity.<\/p>\n
\u201cA world that is inclusive, equitable, and diverse where women are working towards achieving equality in leadership positions collectively and rise to stimulate inclusion in line with International Women\u2019s Day theme.\u201d<\/p>\n
WDNZ powers to champion and advance women\u2019s rights and inclusion, in addressing gender imbalance in Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n
\u201cWDN-ZW\u2019s work fosters change in making sure there are equal opportunities for both men and women to participate in all levels of political decision-making.<\/p>\n
WDN is commemorating International Women\u2019s Month under the theme \u201cWomen Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe ought to amplify women\u2019s voices, action, and leadership as we celebrate Women\u2019s Power, Resilience, leadership, and Respect.<\/p>\n
