Previously, he served as Artistic Director of Theater J, the nation&#8217;s premier Jewish theater, where he led an acclaimed fiscal and artistic revitalization.<\/p>\n<p>He also served as Associate Artistic Director at the Tony Award-winning McCarter Theatre. Throughout his career, Adam has been a champion of new work and inclusive storytelling.<\/p>\n<p>At Theater J, he launched the Expanding the Canon initiative to commission diverse Jewish playwrights and established the Yiddish Theater Lab.<\/p>\n<p>At McCarter, his producing credits included the Tony-winning Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike and the original development of Danai Gurira&#8217;s Eclipsed.<\/p>\n<p>As a director, his work has been seen internationally (Zimbabwe), Off-Broadway (The Public Theater), and at major regional theaters including Woolly Mammoth and Cleveland Play House.<\/p>\n<p>A graduate of Brown University and a Drama League Directing Fellow, Adam has taught at Princeton, Juilliard, and George Washington University.<\/p>\n<p>About Almasi Collaborative Arts:
