Police have released names of the six family members who perished in an accident on Thursday morning at the 246-kilometre peg along Harare-Masvingo Road.<\/p>\n
The accident occurred at around 9 am, in which six people were killed after a Toyota Corolla vehicle and a Mercedes-Benz truck collided head-on.<\/p>\n
The Zimbabwe Republic Police released the names of the victims who were identified by their next of kin, as listed:<\/p>\n
\u27a4 Lilian Maranda Mujuru (40), a female adult of Tynwald North, Harare,<\/p>\n
\u27a4 Nokutenda Mujuru (15), a female juvenile of Tynwald North, Harare,<\/p>\n
\u27a4 Makanaka Mujuru (13), a female juvenile of Tynwald North, Harare,<\/p>\n
\u27a4 Ronald Junior Mujuru (11), a male juvenile of Tynwald North, Harare,<\/p>\n
\u27a4 Rufaro Shalom Mujuru (Seven), a female juvenile of Tynwald North, Harare<\/p>\n
\u27a4 Kayden Mujuru (three), a male juvenile of Tynwald North, Harare.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Zimbabwe Republic Police extend deepest condolences to the family of the victims.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe appeal to drivers to seriously consider road safety while moving on the country’s roads this Easter and Independence Holidays.<\/p>\n
\u201cMeanwhile, the Zimbabwe Republic Police have no report or confirmation that this sad accident was caused by Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission and Zimbabwe Republic Police teams.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Police dismiss any social media insinuation with the contempt it deserves,\u201d said police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi.<\/p>\n
