{"id":4138,"date":"2025-11-08T10:41:25","date_gmt":"2025-11-08T10:41:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zimdailyjournal.co.zw\/?p=4138"},"modified":"2025-11-08T10:41:25","modified_gmt":"2025-11-08T10:41:25","slug":"more-woes-for-prophet-magaya","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zimdailyjournal.co.zw\/index.php\/2025\/11\/08\/more-woes-for-prophet-magaya\/","title":{"rendered":"More woes for Prophet Magaya"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More toruble seems to be lying ahead of incarcerated PHD Ministries leader Prophet Walter Magaya after reports that more victims from outside the country are pushing to make some reports.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In a statement, police spokesperon , Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed that police have taken note of several calls from people all over the world on how to report rape, assault and fraud allegations against PHD Ministries&#8217; Walter Magaya.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Please take note that the Zimbabwe Republic Police has availed cellphone number 0776 830 226, National Complaints number (0242) 703631 and WhatsApp number, 0712 800 197 for anyone to freely report and allow the Zimbabwe Republic Police to conduct investigations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Victims in Zimbabwe, South Africa, United Kingdom, Namibia, Botswana, South Africa, Mozambique, Malawi and Zambia or any country are urged to feel free to report.<\/p>\n<p>For those victims in South Africa, please feel free to go to the local Police Station to report and have your statement notarized and formally submitted to the Zimbabwean Embassy.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Zimbabwe Republic Police warns individuals and syndicates trying to interfere with investigations or threaten witnesses that they risk being arrested for defeating or obstructing the course of justice,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Republic Police cautions individuals and groups, including social media platforms, such as COZWA and Crime Watch Zimbabwe, against publishing individual officers&#8217; and investigators&#8217; personal cellphone numbers or contact details.<\/p>\n<p>Victims or witnesses are urged to utilise the numbers given above and quickly report anyone issuing threats, harassment or intimidation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>More toruble seems to be lying ahead of incarcerated PHD Ministries leader Prophet Walter Magaya after reports that more victims from outside the country are pushing to make some reports.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":4099,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[32],"tags":[284],"class_list":{"0":"post-4138","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-crime-and-courts-zimbabwe","8":"tag-prophet-walter-magaya"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.5 -
