Police is warning, criminals who are taking advantage of the Kuwadzana Children’s tragedy by sourcing out for money via Ecocash.<\/p>\n
Police said criminals are taking advantage to mobilise the public to deposit or send money.<\/p>\n
They are using Ecocash and InnBucks on accounts owned or controlled by Josphine Mutongi, under the guise of assistance to the families,.<\/p>\n
Police Commissioner Paul Nyathi said, they are mobilising fot funds for the children’s missing body parts protest and holding of an illegal demonstration\/gathering.<\/p>\n
“For the record, the Zimbabwe Republic Police has no evidence that one or all of the victims had missing body parts.<\/p>\n
“The Police is also coordinating a full post-mortem to be conducted on October 6, in Harare.<\/p>\n
“The results will be made public in consultation with the families.<\/p>\n
“The families of the victims have disowned Josphine Mutongi who is openly using the social media platforms to create confusion among Zimbabweans.<\/p>\n
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police strongly warns anyone or groups who are agitating for violence or illegal gatherings that the law will definitely take its course without fear or favour.<\/p>\n
“The public should respect the privacy of the grieving families and in the process allow the Police to find out what exactly happened in this sad incident.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
