His actions have been alluded to high intake of drugs and susbtance abuse, something he seems to be dismissing.<\/p>\n
However, he has since backtracked on his statements and issued an apology.<\/p>\n
He posted on his X account:<\/p>\n
\u201cRehab is a very difficult decision, especially when you know you are not using what they say you are using.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have always avoided it because it\u2019s a place where I know the junkies go.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs a man who drank a lot of alcohol but still had the ability to make proper decisions the next morning, I thought I could just conquer it easily.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut the same alcohol has destroyed others before\u2014 their health, their families, their talents, and their lives.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, I have made these bold decisions to seek professional help,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
He added that some people want to see him finished.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know a lot of people wish to see me fail in many ways, but the same people who would wish to put me in trouble have always shown me love and expressed a genuine need for professional help.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd this is a step toward that.<\/p>\n
\u201cI still call myself \u2018the leader of the youth\u2019 because I still am; I just need to remember the direction they need to be led in.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe right one.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am not going to inspire a nation of alcoholics.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo those who are praying for me, I promise I will be a better man.<\/p>\n
\u201cI remain apologetic for everything I said.\u201d<\/p>\n
