Over 800 jobs are set to be created and boost industrial growth following the establishment of a modern cement plant in Chegutu.<\/p>\n
The project being run by Shuntai Investments (Pvt) Ltd is set to bring new life to Chegutu with the development.<\/p>\n
Previously, the development had faced resistance from the nearby school Bryden Country’s authorities, who argued that the project had commenced without an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) certificate.<\/p>\n
That concern, however, is now sterile after the Environmental Management Agency (EMA) granted Shuntai the required EIA certificate, confirming that the project is compliant and can proceed.<\/p>\n
In a statement, the company said that Shuntai has invested in cutting-edge technology to manage dust and noise, ensuring full compliance with environmental standards.<\/p>\n
