The Minister of Health and Child Care, Dr. Douglas Mombeshora, has also praised Discovery Ambulance Services’ partnership as a strategic collaboration that will save lives and strengthen our healthcare system.<\/p>\n
He urged the private sector to step forward and contribute to Zimbabwe\u2019s health development.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is the kind of collaboration that accelerates progress and benefits every Zimbabwean.<\/p>\n
“We welcome those who can contribute positively to join us,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Harare City Council Mayor Jacob Mafume praised Discovery Ambulance Services, stating that the company is providing emergency medical support which is mostly needed.<\/p>\n
“Discovery Ambulance Services is stepping in at a critical moment.<\/p>\n
“Their presence strengthens our city\u2019s ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies,\u201d Mayor Mafume said.<\/p>\n
David Munowenyu, CEO and founder of Discovery Ambulance Services , reaffirmed the company\u2019s dedication to public safety.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur duty is to the people. We will not stop doing good until we have a modern and industrialised Zimbabwe,\u201d Munowenyu said.<\/p>\n
He emphasised that while \u201cagents opposed to progress\u201d are working to undermine partnerships, the company remains laser-focused on action, results, and saving lives.<\/p>\n
\u201cCriticism is inevitable, but it will not distract us.<\/p>\n
“Our focus remains on strengthening health delivery, building resilience, and extending emergency services to every corner of Zimbabwe where they are needed most,\u201d Munowenyu added.<\/p>\n
The collaboration with Harare City Council is a practical step toward modernising local health services. Discovery Ambulance Services insists such initiatives should not be politicised but embraced as part of a broader vision to transform healthcare delivery in the country.<\/p>\n
