I began performing as a musician in grade three and enjoyed entertaining at school events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I could find a place to record my music, I would be one step closer to realising my dream,\u201d said Mike.<\/p>\n<p>His story is both tragic and inspiring.<\/p>\n<p>Despite being wheelchair-bound, Mike&#8217;s optimism remains unshaken.<\/p>\n<p>He believes that disability does not equate to inability.<\/p>\n<p>Life in a wheelchair does not diminish his capabilities but instead, he hopes to inspire change and encourage support for those with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI accepted my condition, as I have never walked. Growing up, I learned to embrace it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThough it pains me, I believe God has a purpose for my life. People often look down on us, sidelining us in many situations, yet I still possess potential.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have faced unwarranted criticism, but I continue to push for the better.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have a two-year-old child. My wife needs my care, as does my family, but the challenges are too heavy on me.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t do what I am able because moving around is not easy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy wife had accepted me as I am, sadly, she recently she left because I couldn\u2019t provide for her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow, my mother is taking care of us, and it\u2019s a struggle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSometimes, I feel that death is the only solution,\u201d he said, tears streaming down his face.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Anne Mangadze, Mike&#8217;s mother, feels that the community is often unfair, as people selectively add to her pain by labeling her with various accusations, suggesting that she caused her sons&#8217; disabilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese children are both disabled Mike and his younger brother.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have four children, and Mike is the third.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was born on July 30, 2000, with Spina Bifida, which has impacted his life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe doctors warned us that he might never walk properly after surgery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis younger brother also suffers from cerebral palsy, which affects his hand and leg after a traumatic incident at the age of three.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis brain was also impacted, leaving him with lasting effects,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI never wished for this and people say hurtful things, labeling me with all sorts of name without even knowing that I am also in pain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho wish bad things on their children. I have done nothing to my sons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI pray for their health and leaving everything else in God&#8217;s hands.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMike has always had a talent and even at school, he would sing.
