SOUTH Africa-based Zimbabwean entrepreneur and, founder of the PR and marketing agency Orchard On 25, Jay Badza has died.<\/p>\n
The businessman died at the agebof 38.<\/p>\n
Last year, he was eyeing a chunk of the African market after launching branches in Harare and Nairobi.<\/p>\n
Badza, was running Orchard On 25, the leading South African creative agency known for bringing to life the marketing visions of global giants like Johnnie Walker, Glencore and Kellogg\u2019s.<\/p>\n
He founded his firm in Johannesburg in 2017.<\/p>\n
In a statement his agency confirmed.<\/p>\n
“It is with deep sadness that we share the devastating news of the passing of Orchard on 25 Founder and Head Honcho, Jay Badza.<\/p>\n
“A true visionary and passionate leader in the Public Relations and Marketing industry – affectionately known to many as Mr. Jay – he poured his heart into elevating young creatives.<\/p>\n
“He wasn’t just a mentor but a guiding light who nurtured countless individuals and ignited their potential.<\/p>\n
“His unwavering commitment to innovation and the relentless pursuit of excellence not only transformed the industry, it transformed lives.”<\/p>\n
Jay’s extraordinary vision brought Orchard on 25 to life in July 2017, and this same vision led the agency through remarkable growth ultimately becoming the leading creative agency it is today.<\/p>\n
“His creative solutions forged powerful connections between brands and African consumers, crafting authentic stories that resonated deeply and made a meaningful impact.<\/p>\n
“In an interview for MarkLives, Jay once mentioned,<\/p>\n
“”I am a charismatic person, so I want my legacy to have been that of an entrepreneur who created a remarkable place to work at.<\/p>\n
” For me, success is creating a place of work which gives people dignity and a decent living”.<\/p>\n
” This philosophy was the foundation upon which he built Orchard on 25, and will continue to guide the agency throughout its growth.<\/p>\n
