A Harare man has been thrown behind bars for 15 years after he raped his own 14-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n
He appeared before the Harare Magistrates’ Court where he was sentenced.<\/p>\n
The 41-year-old man repeatedly raped his 14-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n
The incidents took place between April and December 2024 in Waterfalls, Harare.<\/p>\n
The court heard that the father lured his daughter to a nearby River, where he proposed a romantic relationship.<\/p>\n
He sexually assaulted her despite her refusal.<\/p>\n
He threatened to kill her if she disclosed the abuse.<\/p>\n
The assaults continued multiple times, including during the absence of his wife, who is the victim’s stepmother.<\/p>\n
