There is no joy for business partners Mike Chimombe and Moses Mpofu after Justice Pisiriyai Kwenda denied them at the High Court.<\/p>\n

Justice Kwenda ruled that despite a determined fight by the pair, two compelling reasons initially found by the magistrate court still persist.<\/p>\n

Moses Mpofu<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

“I, therefore, find that two of the compelling reasons found by the magistrate, which are the likelihood that Chimombe and Mpofu might not stand trial or are likely to interfere with State witnesses still persist.<\/p>\n

“In a result, the application for bail may not succeed.<\/p>\n

“I therefore dismiss it,” ruled Justice Kwenda.”<\/p>\n
