A 28-year-old Tsholotsho woman has been jailed for 18 months effective for stabbing her boyfriend for changing music.<\/p>\n

The woman was initially slapped with a 24-month jail term of which 6 months were suspended for 5 years on condition of good behaviour.<\/p>\n

She will serve 18 months effectively.<\/p>\n

The accused appeared before Tsholotsho Magistrates’ Court facing charges of physical abuse.<\/p>\n

On May, 21 at around 9 pm, the accused and the complainant were at home when an altercation arose between the two.<\/p>\n

The argument arose when the accused asked for the complainant’s mobile phone which she intended to use for light.<\/p>\n

The complainant handed over the phone and advised her not to change the music that was playing on the phone.<\/p>\n

It was proved that the accused changed the music and the complainant took the phone from her.<\/p>\n

This did not go well with the accused person who stabbed him in the head using a kitchen knife.<\/p>\n

The complainant sustained a cut on the head and the ear.<\/p>\n
