fires warning shot at sex worker&#8230;refuses to pay for services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MASVINGO- A Masvingo man has been brought before the court for pointing a firearm at a sex worker after he refused to pay her.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Tafadzwa Magombedze was arraigned before the Masvingo Magistrates&#8217; Court facing two counts of contravening the Firearms Act.<\/p>\n<p>On the first count, he was charged with pointing a firearm, and on the second count, knowingly and without lawful cause discharging a firearm in or upon a public place&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He pleaded guilty to the charges and will be sentenced on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The complainant is a commercial sex worker.<\/p>\n<p>On May 9, Tafadzwa engaged the services of the complainant.<\/p>\n<p>It was proved that a dispute arose between the two when Tafadzwa refused to pay for the complainant&#8217;s services.<\/p>\n<p>He alleged that she had stolen his money.<\/p>\n<p>He drew out a pistol which he pointed at the complainant before firing a warning shot.<\/p>\n<p>A report was made to the police leading to his arrest.<\/p>\n<p>The Police searched the accused person and found him in possession of a Star Pistol.<\/p>\n<p>The pistol had four live rounds of ammunition and one spent cartridge.<\/p>\n<p>Investigations established that the Star Pistol was certified for the purposes of protection of cash
