{"id":1177,"date":"2024-05-01T14:56:53","date_gmt":"2024-05-01T14:56:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zimdailyjournal.co.zw\/?p=1177"},"modified":"2024-05-02T07:06:44","modified_gmt":"2024-05-02T07:06:44","slug":"parirenyatwa-fake-doctors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zimdailyjournal.co.zw\/index.php\/2024\/05\/01\/parirenyatwa-fake-doctors\/","title":{"rendered":"Parirenyatwa records high cases of fake doctors"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals has recorded the highest number of unscrupulous people masquerading as doctors.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In 2023, the institution said, 33 offenders were picked while this year from January to date 11 cases have been recorded.<\/p>\n<p>This follows the rise in the arrest of fake doctors from the hospital premises raising an alarm of porous security.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the hospital said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cParirenyatwa Group of Hospitals has always made efforts to safeguard the public from unscrupulous people.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These people masquerade as our employees with malicious intentions to fleece unsuspecting members of the public.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn 2023 alone, 33 offenders were picked up by our Security Department.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom January 2024 to date, 11 cases of this nature have been picked up by the same department and dealt with accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBogus doctors, bogus tutors who extort prospective student nurses, and thieves who steal from both staff members.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They who also steal from patients are some of those criminals who have been picked up and handed over to the police.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cParirenyatwa Group of Hospitals is a vast institution with close to 400 doctors of all professional levels.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A total staff establishment of close to 4000.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnscrupulous people take advantage of our vastness and complexity to carry out nefarious activities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Added the statement:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFortunately, our Surveillance Teams remain vigilant and have always apprehended these unruly elements who try to penetrate and abuse our systems.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to assure members of the public that the investigations have been carried out.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The hospital established that the three recently arrested fake doctors did not manage any patient.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur Surveillance Teams shall continue to flush out criminals bent on abusing public trust in our institution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more stories @ <a href=\"https:\/\/zimdailyjournal.co.zw\/\">Zimdaily Journal<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also Visit us on our Facebook Page @ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ZimDailyJournal\">ZimDailyJournal<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals has recorded the highest number of unscrupulous people masquerading as doctors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":1178,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[27],"tags":[137],"class_list":{"0":"post-1177","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-news-zimbabwe","8":"tag-parirenyatwa-group-of-hospitals"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Parirenyatwa fake doctors - zimdailyjournal<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Parirenyatwa fake doctors!!!
